I am a 37 year old husband (lucky to get the beautiful wife I have), father of four, brother of two and only son.
I have gone from athlete in high school to college freshman fifteen.
Then to fit upper classman.
Then fat in the first job out of college with major travel ( not good locations, main street was gravel in many locations).
Now, I am back on the horse. I am getting back in shape. I have to be able to keep up with the kids and be nice arm candy for my wife.
I have a dad bod and looking to be better.
What I have done from April 2015 to July 2015 to lose 30 pounds is not for everyone. I am not losing some much wait now as I am gaining muscle.
I am loving life and feel better than I have in a long time.
So, why am I doing this blog.
There are a few reasons.
One is to keep me honest. I want to make sure I am staying the path to being healthy. I want to be able to play with my kids without having to sit out and rest. I want them to be able to bounce on me without me having to go the ER with a broken rib.
Two is to help you know that anyone can stay in shape. I work a full time job, 4 kids ( all under 9) and a beautiful wife. I make time to exercise. I have plenty of excuses as to why not, but I do it anyway. And I love it.
Three is to show off the tools I use.
